wan·der·lust: a strong desire to travel
"a woman consumed by wanderlust"
To quote the late, great Anthony Bourdain, "Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life — and travel — leaves marks on you."
And I am no different. All my travels have left a mark on me - some good, some not - and there is always something to learn from wherever you wander to. I’m not a blogger, influencer, nor someone who likes to do stupid poses in pictures. I’m an adventurous solo female traveler who lets the countries I visit, the people I meet, and the food I eat be my muse for the content I capture.
Usually I shy away from posting personal anecdotes and pictures, however have caved to the never ending request of friends who can all be credited with having me craft this delightfully lite travel diary for public consumption. Hopefully some pretty pictures and cultural tidbits inspire you to grab your passport and hit the road.
"If I'm an advocate for anything, it's to move. As far as you can, as much as you can. Across the ocean, or simply across the river. The extent to which you can walk in someone else's shoes or at least eat their food, it's a plus for everybody. Open your mind, get up off the couch, move."
